Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She is also a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is first woman who is a winner at CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. Annie was second in both the 2010. CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media-star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. Also, she is known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie and her parents and her siblings were born and raised in Reykjavik Iceland. As a fitness enthusiast since a young age she participated in a variety of school sports and won several medals. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. The following year, she participated again at CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She became the first woman to ever be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to win successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In 2014, Annie received a Silver medal and, most recently, in 2021, she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has seen her become the spokesperson for many brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. Her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" which has over a thousand followers. It is the channel the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family as well as travel.
