Born on July 22, 1993 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were the parents of Selena. Selena's mother Amanda Cornett was sixteen years old when Selena was conceived. As a 9-year-old Selena made her first job in the world of showbiz when she played Gianna on Barney and her Friends. Thus she became one of the children that were the only historical anthropomorphic dinosaur, the purple one. Selena performed for many seasons in season 7 and 8, from 2001 until 2003. She also was given the part in the role of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2005 Brain Zapped program for which she wrote a song.
